ONEONESIX in partnership with the Whangārei Fringe Festival held their first ever artist in residence, Emele Ugavule. Hosting Emele for a 7 day Tagata Moana Residency at their space in the heart of Whangārei.

The 7 day residency consisted of Emele developing her new work Drau Ni Uto Hotel, facilitating a free workshop for community about Pacific storytelling and Futurisms and a community sharing of the Work in Progress.
