The Fiji Fringe 2025 Literary Series, co-produced by Baka Books and Studio Kiin, marked a significant expansion of the festival into the literary and educational domain, engaging audiences across generations through storytelling, workshops, and author talks.

Hosted in Suva’s civic and cultural venues, the series included a Children’s Storytime featuring local authors and illustrators, a writer’s talanoa evening and a writing for performance workshop.

Grounded in the Pacific practice of talanoa, the series foregrounded local voices, fostered mentorship, and created accessible spaces for cultural exchange.
